In the ten-hour Showtime miniseries "Sleeper Cell," which began on Sunday and will finish up on December 18th (with frequent reruns along the way), viewers will get to know five members of a Muslim terrorist cell in Los Angeles who are planning a large-scale attack on the city. The group is led by a darkly handsome authoritarian named Faris al-Farik (Oded Fehr), a Saudi (but maybe not . . .) whose cover is that he's a security expert named Yossi Amran, a devoted Jew who enjoys spending his spare time coaching a kids' baseball team called the Sinai Maccabees.
