Russian Public Chamber welcomes media supervision role.

Moscow, 9 December: Members of the Russian Public Chamber are saying that giving it additional powers to monitor compliance with freedom of expression in the media is a useful and proper decision. The State Duma adopted the relevant amendments to the law "On the Public Chamber" in the third reading today.
