Dec. 9--Consumer confidence improved for the third straight month in November due to falling fuel prices and strong economic figures, notably from exports, according to the monthly survey of 2,228 respondents by the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The consumer confidence index (CCI) last month registered 87.9, up from 86.8 in October and 85.4 in September.
It reflected better attitudes towards the future of the economy, future income and job opportunities, said Thanavath Phonvichai, director of the university's Centre for Economic and Business Forecasting.
