Dec. 8--Considering an ocean voyage in hopes of catching a glimpse of the creatures of the deep? Starting tomorrow, one can gaze at the wonders of the sea right in the middle of Bangkok, at the 1.2-billion-baht Siam Ocean World aquarium.
The underwater aquarium is touted as the largest in Southeast Asia, spanning two storeys and 10,000 square metres, and is a key attraction at Siam Paragon, the capital's newest shopping mall.
Geoff Olson, the general manager of Siam Ocean World, said 30,000 marine creatures representing 400 aquatic species would be on display, including a 40- million-baht ragged-tooth shark and giant ...
