Three years ago while on vacation, actress Mariska Hargitay stepped aboard a boat in Kona, Hawaii, and headed out into the turquoise, sundappled waters of the Pacific Ocean to swim with wild dolphins. As the boat chugged toward the horizon, Mariska began to notice sleek gray shapes arching out of the water in the distance. Ten minutes later, the captain dropped anchor, and Mariska looked down to see dozens of spinner dolphins darting beneath the boat. At the dive master's signal, she pulled on her blue flippers, tightened her mask, and jumped in.
