Dec. 7--Global Connections, a distributor of plastics and petrochemicals, enjoyed a good debut on the Stock Exchange of Thailand yesterday, with its shares closing 2.5 percent above their initial public offering price.
Property developer Preuksa Real Estate closed 0.5 percent below its IPO price, despite the generally positive investment mood on the SET thanks to higher-than-expected third-quarter economic figures. The broad market advanced 2.9 percent yesterday.
