This year's National Farmers' Day celebration ended beautifully at Navrongo in the Upper East Region. The day was very unique because it served one main purpose of integrating Ghanaians. One would have wondered what would have dragged one farmer all the way from the Greater Accra Region or Central Region to the Upper East Region, but for the National Farmers' Day.

One thing that was however missing was the conspicuous absence of politicians across the divide at the function. Public Agenda had hoped that all politicians would be there to grace the occasion.
