With the deadline for implementing e-government (IEG) on 31 December, Gloucester Electronic Partnership, an IT initiative of the county's local councils, has adopted Open Objects KBroker search software to help it fulfil compliance requirements.
KBroker is a search application for websites, extranets and intranets, and works by extracting results from a range of search applications within the organisation.
The Electronic Partnership chose Open Objects because it meets the IEG requirements for deep-linking to the relevant pages on related websites.
