Sound bites, debates, Prime Minister's Questions, filibustering and crucial votes from the Houses of Parliament are now filed and searchable on a new resource from PA Business, an information supply division of the Press Association newswire service.

Politics Today provides subscription access to live and archived parliamentary television content provided by the BBC Parliament channel and Press Association news agency articles.

Ian Campbell, PA Business managing director, said there is high interest in the ability to search for and access TV footage, but added: "What has been missing is the ability to get access to the material quickly; rights can be a lengthy process."

All TV footage on Politics Today is rights-free and comes with the consent of the Parliamentary Broadcasting Unit.
