Dec. 6--Cementhai Chemicals Co (CCC), the petrochemical arm of the Siam Cement Group, expects petrochemical prices to continue to drop slightly next year, in line with an increase in market supply, according to president Cholanat Yarnaranop.

He said that since the petrochemical industry had performed well for two consecutive years, the rise in demand would likely begin to lag behind growth on the supply side.

Due to the decline in the industry next year, the company is expected to announce a slight drop in profit in line with the momentum of the market downturn.
