WB official: Vietnam to receive substantial ODA in 2005.

Section: Regional News - Vietnam will be able to receive a large volume of official development assistance (ODA) from the international community in 2005 thanks to the country's remarkable achievements in the economic and legal system, said World Bank (WB) Country Director to Vietnam Klaus Rohland at a press briefing in Hanoi on Dec. 1.

The consultative group of donors to Vietnam, comprising members of the Vietnamese Government and representatives of about 50 bilateral and multilateral donors, will meet in a conference in Hanoi on Dec. 6 and 7.
