Bush vows to bolster AIDS fight

Marking World AIDS Day, President Bush affirmed America's commitment to fight the deadly disease around the world. "This pandemic threatens the stability and the future of whole societies," Bush said. AIDS afflicts more than 40 million people. In India, thousands marched in anti-AIDS rallies, while China rolled out a campaign targeting millions of migrant workers. About 5.1 mil people in India have HIV -- more than any country except South Africa.
