Democrat urges energy inquiry

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., called on the Justice Department to investigate if major oil company executives lied to Congress when they testified that their firms did not participate in a 2001 task force that prepared the Bush administration's energy policy. A White House document obtained by The Washington Post states that several of the firms did meet with the task force.
