Dec. 1--The Finance Ministry plans to amend the corporatisation law next year to refine the privatisation process for state enterprises.
Areepong Bhoocha-oom, the deputy director-general of the State Enterprise Policy Office, said changes would be aimed at clarifying various issues involved in privatisation.
For instance, agencies that have monopoly power as a result of their status as a state enterprise could be forced to transfer that authority to a state regulator prior to privatisation.
