At the AutoWeek design Forum last January the big treat was a peek behind the scenes of Pixar Animation Studios, courtesy of Pixar creative genius John Lasseter.
Lasseter wowed the crowd with tales of how a movie story comes together as well as with rough clips from the coming animated movie Cars, which he directs.
With just six months to go until Cars appears in theaters in June 2006, Lasseter returns for a special preview of the film at the 13th Annual AutoWeek Design Forum, Jan. 11, in Detroit. Lasseter's presentation precedes legendary Italdesign president Giorgetto Giugiaro's dinner address.
