In the past there was no comparison. The Dodge Viper always won. That is, if anyone ever thought about comparing it to the Chevrolet Corvette, which no one did because, like we said, the Viper would always win. How could it not, with all that displacement, all those cylinders, all that beastly harsh suspension?
Consider the history. Corvette has been around since the Late Pleistocene, while Viper, a fairly recent development, arrived in 1992 amid what was referred to then as much brouhaha. The Viper immediately kicked the Corvette's rear bumper.
