Tata Motors debuted its American Depositary Receipts on Sept. 27 last year. The stock has shown resistance at 13 in recent months.
Tata is India's largest maker of trucks, buses and cars. Sales growth has accelerated on an annual basis the past two years, from 2% to 28% to 60%. Tata also went from bleeding red ink in fiscal 2002 (ended in March that year) to a profit of 62 cents per ADR in 2004.
Tata on Nov. 14 said it began the rollout of India's first 300-horsepower heavy commercial vehicles. The Tata Novus Tipper can be used for mining and construction jobs.
