Kiev, 30 November: Ukrainian Defence Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko has told journalists in Moscow that Ukraine does not view the Russian Black Sea naval base in Crimea as a threat to the national security of Ukraine.

"We do not consider the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet as a threat. Russia is a friendly state. It is our strategic partner. We are openly saying this because the two nations will live together for centuries," he said. He added that he discussed the issue of the …
