I COMMEND the New Sunday Times (Nov 27) for its story on the late Jalil Ibrahim and his family.

At a time when there is so much talk about integrity, it is important to remind Malaysians that this nation has produced an individual like Jalil who was steadfast in his determination to expose irregularities and abuses in the upper echelons of society. He paid for his commitment to his professional ethics, with his life.

It is sad that to this day Malaysia has not recognised Jalil's immense …
