THE recent episodes of violence, gangsterism, indiscipline and disunity among students in schools are alarming. The situation calls for an urgent review of Moral Studies in the school syllabus.

Moral Studies is about "discipline". Scholars have written books on the subject of "discipline". There are various ideas but, in general, it means correct behaviour in any situation.
