Cheney Aide Libby Indicted

1A grand jury charged Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, for obstruction, perjury and making false statements. Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald said he leaked the ID of CIA agent Valerie Plame and lied about that. Top Bush adviser Karl Rove wasn't indicted, but might be later. Libby, who faces up to 30 years in prison, resigned. More on this page
