PRA Suspects File Petition Over Court Martial Trial.

Five of the treason suspects who were recently released on bail by the High Court but later dragged to the General Court Martial and charged with terrorism have filed a petition in the Constitutional Court.

The petitioners are: George Tumwesigye alias Owakukiroru, Jurua Jackson Macpeace, Patrick Okiring alias Grace Efforte, Robert Tweyambe alias Darius Baguma and Joseph Musasizi Kifeefe.

They claim that the acts of the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF) violated their rights and were inconsistent with the provisions of the Constitution of Uganda.
