Polling for the referendum will start at 7am and close at 5pm today, to allow time for counting before dark. Counting will take place at the polling stations and results announced at the end of the exercise.

One will need to present a valid voter's card, a National Identification (ID) card or a valid passport to vote. Expired passports, photocopies, police abstracts or defaced IDs are not acceptable. No other identification is acceptable.

Voters can use any mark such as a tick or a cross or even a line, to show their choice as long as the mark is in the provided space next to their favourite …
