In Europe consumption of recycled PET in 2003 reached 361,000 tonnes made up of 254,000 tonnes fibre, 28,000 tonnes strips, 27,000 tonnes sheets. 40,000 tonnes containers, 6000 tonnes moulded items, 6000 tonnes other.
