Rosy future for MG Rover MG ROVER's Longbridge plant in the UK is operational with 400 employees currently producing MG TF models again, with a plan to re-employ 1200 people by early next year. This is according to company sources that say the assets and tooling for Longbridge has been bought by Nanjing Automobiles (Group) Corporation (NAC).

MG Rover went out of business earlier this year after a potential sales agreement with Shanghai Automotive Industry (SAI) went sour. Various bids have been made for the group assets in a complicated business scenario that has seen little result other …
