Those are some money-saving ideas Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools leaders said Wednesday they will consider as they revamp their construction plans for the next decade.
Each option comes with controversy. None would be enough by itself to address the challenges facing a fast-growing, deeply divided community.
But with Mecklenburg voters rejecting a record bond package last week and county commissioners defeating a Republican alternative on Tuesday, a key question remains unanswered:
