Say the name Giorgetto Giugiaro and anyone who is anyone in the car design world will usually snap to attention. An automotive hall of fame inductee on both sides of the Atlantic, Giugiaro's name is associated with more than 200 cars, including world-renowned models such as the Ferrari 250 GT, BMW 3200 CS, Aston Martin DB4 GT Jet and Isuzu Impulse.
Giugiaro started his career at the age of 21 when he was hired by Nuccio Bertone to head the Bertone Styling Center. Seven years later Giugiaro founded his own design house, Ital Styling, precursor to Italdesign, where he now serves as chairman.
