Busan, 16 November: Pacific Rim foreign and trade ministers adopted a joint statement at the end of the APEC Ministerial Meeting (AMM) here on Wednesday, spelling out concerted measures to facilitate free trade and combat avian influenza, terrorism and corruption.
The 22-page APEC AMM Joint Statement contains individual and collective action plans by the 21 member economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation group to promote global trade-investment liberalization and enhance human, health, business and energy security.
