FOR WHATEVER REASON Audi has never received the kind of attention from the aftermarket tuners that VW, Mercedes, BMW and Porsche get. PPI aims to change that with its RS TT.
The first thing you notice, aside from the orange paint and custom black wheels, is the new Audi single-frame grille. This makes the RS the first TT with the new family look, and it's pleasing to our eyes. It also gives Audi product planners a peek at their next TT.
PPI Automotive Design launched recently after starting in Ulm, Germany, as part of Pogea Racing. Pogea Racing got off the ground in New York City, founded by Eduard Pogea and Benjamin Abraham.
While Pogea Racing has been successful with its tuning activity and front- and rear-end body kits primarily for Audi RS2s, Abraham wanted to create complete cars based on the entire Audi lineup. He wants PPI to follow the tradition of what Ruf and TechArt do for Porsches.
This sharp RS TT started off as a joint Abraham-Pogea project that is now all Benjamin Abraham (meaning all-PPI), who works closely with his twin brother Alfred. The Abra-hams are Audi- and German-tuning fanatics, and have two RS2s among their many personal cars.
The RS TT takes inspiration from the legendary Audi RS2, RS6 and the most recent RS4.
