Hybrid sparks attention
I enjoyed the Honda Accord Hybrid AutoFile (Oct. 31). Nice car, but I just drove my 2000 Buick LeSabre 3000 miles to Texas and back, cruising serenely at speeds up to 75 mph, averaging close to the EPA's highway estimate of 30 mpg. And Buick is consistently near the top of J.D. Power reliability surveys. I don't need a hybrid yet, but I see why people like them.

Oh please! I have driven the Accord Hybrid, and it is far from a muscle car.

As your AutoFile article implies, Accord Hybrids are for rich people who would rather send their money to Japan than the Middle East. I'll get an Accord Coupe V6 six-speed (assuming I can find one) while you guys can get your Accord Hybrid (difficult for ordinary car buyers), and we'll see who wins.
