That controversial beast called the battle of sexes has shown its head once again in golfing circles.

This time around it is about handicaps. The Kenya Golf Union have written to the ladies Union saying , unlike the men, the women will play off 7/8s of their handicaps instead of the full handicap in the Johnnie Walker series and other tournaments organised by the KGU.

Needless to say the ladies are not amused.

According to sources the letter from the KGU was like an ambush. The matter had not been discussed nor any consultation done before the ruling came into …
