Police yesterday warned they would take stern action against any campaigner who made unsubstantiated allegations.

Yes politicians have alleged that youths are being recruited to cause chaos during the referendum. And a No rally was told of a plot to harm key leaders ahead of the November 21.

"This is just a warning," police spokesperson Jasper Ombati told the Nation. "They cannot continue making such allegations. They should inform us so that we can act."
