Nov. 13--Whether you're a novice on the bunny slope or an expert speeding down a black diamond, having the right equipment is essential.

Advancements in skiing and snowboarding technology have made these sports more accessible to a larger segment of the population.

"There's equipment for all different shapes and sizes of people, all skill levels. Anything you want, you can find it," said Frank Rubino, 19, a Linden resident who said he has skied since he was 7.
