Continence promotion is an aspect of nursing which has come to the forefront in the last 15 years and there are now over 300 specialist nurses in post. Until now there have been few textbooks and this book will admirably fill the gap. It contains chapters describing the prevalence, aetiology and assessment of urinary incontinence, and on the promotion of continence and the management of incontinence.
