Readers approve of the Mitsubishi Concept-X and hope it reveals much of the future Evolution; they see the new car as a strong candidate to lead the company's resurgence.

Mitsubishi nailed the Concept-X's design, which looks great from all angles. The front is wicked-looking, and much better than the loopy front end of Subaru's WRX. If the Evo X actually looks like this, my C6 Corvette is history.

I am truly impressed. If this is the next Evo, Mitsubishi has a winner. Styling is handsome and contemporary. With aluminum sheetmetal, 300 hp and paddle shifters-and if the base price is $30k-Mitsubishi will sell every one it spits out.

The Concept-X's styling is right on the mark, but a 21st century sports car can have cruise control and navigation, too. Add that, and I will park one next to my 500-hp Evo VIII.
