Nov. 8--Soken Electronics (Thailand) Co is expanding its MP3 distribution through a partnership with Alliance & Link Corporation Co to raise sales to 100,000 players next year from 40,000 this year.
Thailand's MP3 market this year is projected at 400,000 units, growing to between 700,000 and 800,000 next year, said Su Yi Dan, managing director of Soken Electronics (Thailand), and Soken expects to capture more than a 12 percent market share.
The anticipated increase in sales of MP3s and other electronic goods is expected to boost company revenue to two billion baht next year from 1.5 billion baht this year. Soken has ...
