Nov. 8--Phatra Securities, long one of the country's top institutional brokerage houses, plans to boost its share in the retail market through online services.
Chief executive Suvit Mapaisansin yesterday launched the firm's PhatraDirect service, an Internet portal site offering research, securities data and trading services.
"Our focus really is on younger generation investors who are familiar with the Internet. We will leverage our existing strengths in research and information databases," he said.
