Nov. 7--Rising interest rates will force fund managers to become more innovative in product design to draw new capital, according to Teeraphan Jittalarn, chief investment officer and senior vice-president at Krungthai Asset Management.

Competition for deposits is likely to rise in the future as the economy continues to grow, potentially drawing cash from the capital market and funds.
