Nov. 7--The operator of the Fashion Trend Center (FTC), part of the government's Bangkok Fashion City project, wants the Industry Ministry to waive the requirement to return 20 percent of the budget before the contract ends in November next year, saying the venture may operate at a loss.

Pimplus PR Co set up the centre to collect fashion designs from local designers and to serve as a fashion database for industrial entrepreneurs.
