Nov. 5--The listed developer Eastern Star Real Estate Plc will continue to be conservative next year with plans to launch only one residential property.
"We have no pressure to pay dividends to the shareholders so we don't need to accelerate sales," said chief executive Veraphan Teepsuwan. "But we will move aggressively in residential and office development over the next five years and our focus will be medium- to high-end projects."
In 2006, the company will develop luxury housing on a 33-rai plot on Onnuj Road. For future developments, it is eyeing some plots owned by its major shareholder, the Rattanarak family ...
