Nov. 3--TT&T Plc, the provincial fixed-line telephone provider, is considering diversifying into third-generation mobile-phone service as part of its plan to become an integrated telecom service provider.

Superthree Broadband Co, a new subsidiary of TT&T with 10 million baht in capital, also applied for a type-3 operating licence, mandatory for an operator with its own network for rent or to provide its own services, with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
