Nov. 3--The Government Savings Bank and the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives will set up permanent service windows to help customers restructure their informal debt.

Finance Minister Thanong Bidaya said the two state banks would offer refinancing services for people who wanted to restructure debt, an extension of a programme launched last year aimed at assisting low-income debtors.

Job matching services would also be offered to help unemployed workers find new jobs.
