Nov. 2--True Corp expects to draw in a new foreign strategic partner by mid-2006 to help expand into third-generation cellular services.
True chief executive Supachai Chearavanont said the company would seek a foreign partner with telecom expertise to take a 20 percent to 25 percent stake in the company as a long-term strategic partnership.
"The partner has to be ready to invest with us for seven or 10 years. We will look for someone with the expertise that we need and who is able to help us build synergies and improve our existing services," he said.
