On with the show as iTV deal collapses: Contrasting visions for channel blamed.
Nov. 2--The two-year saga involving programme producer Kantana Group Plc and TV host Traiphop Limpraphat and their quest for shares in iTV ended yesterday when the pair formally terminated their investment agreement.
Kantana and Mr Traiphop wanted more airtime on iTV in exchange for making investments totalling three billion baht to each acquire 10 percent of the company.
But iTV chairman Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisal said the station, a unit of Shin Corp, wanted to keep offering a range of programmes and provide more opportunities for independent producers.
