A range of devices let you print great-looking photos 13 by 19 inches in size. And if you're really into digital photography, you can step up to the next level -- poster printing.
Giant printouts have long been the province of graphic artists and business pitchmen. They use the larger-than-life prints to promote products, proof advertising and make presentations.
Many people let Kinko's and other photocopy shops handle these duties. But the costs can add up. The price of a large print can run $50 to $80.
That's why many people have been cutting out the middleman and buying their own wide-format printers. Prices for these devices have come down quite a bit in the past few years.
