Cheney replaces charged staffer
The vice president named attorney David Addington as his chief of staff, succeeding Lewis "Scooter" Libby, who resigned last week after he was indicted on perjury charges tied to a CIA leak investigation. Dick Cheney also named John Hannah as his national security adviser. Addington has been Cheney's counsel and Hannah has been his deputy national security adviser.
