Delicate balance sought for funeral of Rosa Parks.

DETROIT _ Since the night Rosa Parks died, a group of her closest associates, friends and family members have been meeting daily _ often more than twice a day _ trying to plan a fitting farewell to a legend.

The challenge for Parks' friend Elaine Eason Steele, federal appeals Judge Damon Keith and former judge Adam Shakoor has been to put together services in Montgomery, Washington and Detroit that reflect both her humble manner and lifestyle and her extraordinary contribution to the world.

In Detroit, the plans now call for a horse-drawn carriage to carry her to her final resting place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Detroit.
