We are about to become the first wireless nation on Earth, with telephones attached to our collective belts or in our pockets.

Those of you who have gone crazy following Joe Carphone down the Thruway, waiting for him to hang up and pull over so you can get by, had better sit down.

Things are going to get much worse. Or, depending on your outlook and desire to be in touch all the time, much better.
