InnVentures planning to build 122-room Residence Inn hotel in Sunset Corridor area. (InnVentures Inc.)
Puget Sound hotel developer Larry Culver plans to build a $10.5 million Residence Inn by Marriott in the heart of the Sunset Corridor.
InnVentures Inc. of Bellevue, Wash., expects to break ground this summer on a 122-room, all-suites hotel in Hillsboro's Tanasbourne area, said Culver, company president and principal. InnVentures has a purchase option for 4 acres owned by Standard Insurance Co. on the northwest corner of 185th Avenue and Evergreen Parkway, north of the new Red Robin Restaurant.
Culver, who owns and operates Residence Inn franchises in the Lloyd District, Lake Oswego and Vancouver, has been considering one in the Sunset Corridor for several years. …
