I would like to thank all of our readers for their positive comments, as well as interest in our last Supplement: "Medicare and Medicaid, Can your Organization Sustain an Audit". The documentation and continuous update of all federal, state and local regulatory requirements, accreditation/certification programs and contractual requirements of third party payers is a daunting task in itself for an organization providing behavioral health care services. However, what is even more challenging is relaying the information to the staff providing services and subsequently monitoring compliance with the regulations.
